Autograph letters signed from Edward Russell, Liverpool, to William Winter [manuscript], 1897-1916.

(1) A short note: "With Sir Edward Russell's compliments," with a clipping on Ada Rehan from the Liverpool daily post pasted on the verso; (2) Russell thanks Winter for the book on the late Mr. Symonds, which he wrote about in the Daily post & mercury; (3) Thanks Winter for his kind note and praises his poem about England; he also mentions the tribute given to Winter. With an accompanying envelope addressed to Winter at 46 Third Avenue, New Brighton, Staten Island, New York, U.S.A. Also with (3) is a printed speech titled, "A phrase of Wordsworth: 'Sees what he foresaw,'" which Russell delivered at a banquet in London, inscribed by Russell and signed by Winter.
